Even if you believe you don't need it, if you possess a TRX4, you DO. I was concerned that the rocks rubbing on the frame rails and nerf bars would inadvertently touch the "on-off" switch and inadvertently turn the RC off. I believe that winning the lottery is more possible after installing it and trying it on my personal rock climbing course. In order to mount it, I utilized both the supplied 3M double-sided tape and machine screw number "1". If BOTH machine screws are used to install the red pivoting arm, it must be taken out and replaced. If it is not susceptible to vibration, heat, or constant torsional or shear stresses, the pre-cut 3M tape and "1" machine screw

The piece looks fantastic installed to my TRX-4 1979 Ford Bronco. Not to mention that installing it even without directions was quite simple. Simply drill a small hole in your bumper with a body Reemer, fasten the screw as usual, and voilà ! CB antenna that is mounted. I only awarded this product four stars instead of the five it deserves since mine did not include mounting screws. Fortunately, I had a couple extra sitting around to use to attach it.

Works well and has never caused a problem. Although the diameter may be slightly wrong, it is sufficient for government work. No slips, trips, or chicken bits occurred when I mounted it on my Trx4 with a 1/8 scale motor. neither has used loctite nor even come loose.

It is definitely worth the money; in fact, this is my second one.Pro's - It just functions and completes its task. Since it is not completely black, you can actually see a screw if you drop it into the parts tray. In addition, they have an orange version. The $15 for this is little, and it saves a little bit of frustration, so it's well worth it, especially when you consider how much money is spent on the cars itself and the parts.Things that could be improved include adding a little more weight to the base unit, which would make me feel better while mounting a big RC car, like my 1/8 scale Duratrax 835, or even one of the ultra-light vehicles. A top plate that is slightly larger and has some holes in it so that you may store tools like screwdrivers there for easy access. A drop-in magnetic tray adapter would be wonderful to have, as would some extra parts like varied height or stackable center posts so you could lift it up higher to work on in places where 5" might not be enough.

This position is excellent. Both my Traxxas Rustler 4x4 VXL (1/10th Scale) and my E-Revo 2.0 (1/8th Scale) operate flawlessly with it.There are two sizes of threaded posts included. The longer of the two is Show. Minor assembly is required, but it only takes two minutes. To prevent your screws from rolling away, you can put a thin magnetic strip. It is extremely light and made entirely of aluminum. It has great stability on flat surfaces. This may be enhanced by a heavier base, however it's not a deal-breaker.Its inability to rotate and then lock in place is my sole complaint. Again, not a big deal, especially given the cost.A useful SAE and Metric ruler is engraved into the base of the object. Overall, you can't go wrong for the price.

It has been standing up well so far. Despite being mounted correctly, with the appropriate gear tension, and with a piece of paper sandwiched between the spur and motor gear when it was placed, the other aluminium spur gear will constantly strip. I have no issues utilising a 3S battery to power my stock Redcat Tornado and/or an upgraded fan.

I frequently wreck my autos. Almost every time I pull them out, I have to work on them. All you require for an ECX 2WD vehicle is this. These tools have seen a tonne of use in the short time I've had them, considering that my Ruckus can travel at 50 mph and the Tourment belongs to my 8-year-old. After approximately a month of practically daily use, so far, so excellent.

These have a very premium feel to them. There are two distinct sets of springs included. The spring retainers are really attractive alloy pieces that are held in place by traction rings made of rubber. There is no oil in them, and I won't be using them for a time, but if I discover that they leak, I will update my review. The beautifully threaded spring preload adjustment is extremely excellent. The machining appears to be flawless throughout.
