If you cook often, then a combi oven is worth the investment. This type of oven can both cook and bake food, so it's versatile. Combi ovens also have steam settings that help keep food moist, which is ideal for certain dishes.
Combo microwave ovens are a great option for those who want the convenience of a microwave and the versatility of a traditional oven. They can be a bit more expensive than a standard microwave, but they offer more features and cooking options. If you do a lot of cooking at home, a combo microwave oven is definitely worth the investment.
A convection microwave can replace a regular oven in some cases, but not all. A convection microwave has a fan that circulates hot air, so it can cook food faster than a regular oven. It can also brown and crisp food, which a regular oven can’t do. However, a convection microwave can’t reach the high temperatures that a regular oven can, so it’s not suitable for all types of cooking.
Yes, you can get an oven and microwave combined. It is possible to find models that are both an oven and microwave. This can be helpful if you want to save space in your kitchen or if you want to have both appliances in one unit.

I don't frequently give out five stars, but this deserves one for the price, shipping, and other factors. Almost all of my household projects are ones that I complete. Before making a purchase, be sure to verify the opening's measurements. Because I thought the old oven would be the same size, my cabinet opening turned out to be an inch shallow. Really not a big deal, and I might retrofit it in the future. The packing was almost entirely recyclable, which is unusual for this kind of product, and the shipping was excellent.

I should say up front that I am not an oven expert. We hardly ever bake anything, and I smoke the majority of our meats. Although we have only had a few weeks to utilize it, I am really pleased with it. First of all, it simply looks fantastic. As compared to the oven it replaced, the fans are substantially quieter. The convection microwave has been great thus far, and I've used it. I've only baked one dish in the oven, a take-and-bake pizza, but things are going well so far. I am aware that some people dislike the controls, but once you get the feel of them, they are pretty simple. I adore the sliding rack and the ease of cleaning the oven without removing the grates. The microwave's inside is really large, and thanks to the convection setting, you can use it for some holiday baking. This took the place of another GE oven that served us well for many years and was only changed to modernize the kitchen. If you have a few handyman abilities and are confident wiring up the electrical connection, installing the oven yourself is extremely simple. It is too heavy to hoist into place by one person, but when my wife, my wife's friend, and I were on opposite sides, it slid perfectly in.

Although it required some effort to install, the oven functions perfectly. It is divided into three sections. the oven, the control panel, and the microwave. These three parts were not properly aligned from the factory, despite the fact that it is packaged as ONE unit and HEAVY (weighing over 200 lbs). Even after fitting it into the cabinet, I had to tweak the microwave's mounting brackets and slide a big washer under one corner to lift it. For the height, a washer was lacking. The control panel had a broken stud in it. The supplied electrical cord is VERY SHORT—perhaps three feet. The entire oven, weighing 215 pounds, must be raised to the height of the slot it will fit into, balanced, and turned sideways to access the back. Next, you must reach around and connect the wall. (Not a plug, but four hard wires) It took three of us to do this extremely tight and challenging task. This oven combination, in my opinion, is fantastic and reasonably priced. It has been running well for a month, although I would advise against owner installation. The weak of heart should not attempt it. The men cleaned up the mess after the delivery, which went without a hitch. Them advise you to KEEP the box it came in, but because it's so big, I'd prefer they take it with them.

To replace a GE combo that was too damaged to be repaired, we acquired this one. As instructed by the repairman, we ordered a 27". I looked at the same one on the GE home page as Amazon did not provide the dimensions. Although it came in one solid, 170 kg item rather than two pieces like our prior one, it was nicely packaged and arrived without any damage, etc. Additionally, it was substantially smaller than the GE website's advertised dimensions. To suit the larger hole that was there, our cabinet needed to be modified and repainted. The cabinet needed to be prepared before being brought into the house, lifted into place, and connected.I haven't had the device installed for very long, and I've only used it a handful of times so far. I looked about, and this was the best deal I could find. I will be thrilled if the oven cleans as the marketing claims.Being one single unit fused together made the installation exceedingly challenging, in addition to being smaller than the stated measurements that GE provided. I don't like the timer sound. There are just 2 settings, mute or regular, both of which are quite quiet. It is really soft. To make sure I am aware of when the cooking is finished, I must set my own timer. The device complements my other stainless steel and black appliances nicely and is gorgeous in stainless steel. I anticipate truly savoring this new oven set. With options for steam-cleaning or self-cleaning.

Arrived on schedule, I used this assembly to replace an old double oven, and before making the purchase, I conducted extensive research on depth, width, and other factors. It gave my kitchen a fantastic look, but the cabinets now appear worn. properly priced. I am incredibly happy. Do your homework thoroughly before installation.

Although we have only been using it for a few weeks, we have already had positive experiences. We chose to replace our double oven and microwave with this set-up in order to make space in the newly renovated kitchen. We think this is the best use of space because it frees up the space above our range top because we seldom ever utilized the second oven. We recently cooked a frozen pizza in the microwave; it worked nicely. It was nice and browned even if the crust was not as crunchy as we prefer. It is a little inconvenient to switch out the trays because they must be different for the microwave and oven functions. Without a doubt, we'll use it primarily for microwave purposes. The appearance is clean and contemporary, and the settings are simple to use.

You can put foil in a combi oven, but you need to be careful about how you do it. If you put the foil directly on the food, it can cause it to stick and be difficult to remove. It can also cause the food to cook unevenly. If you want to use foil, it's best to put it on the rack underneath the food.
Yes, most metal cookware is safe to use in the microwave. Metal won't absorb microwaves like food does, so it won't get hot. However, there are a few exceptions. Metal with a gold or silver finish should not be used in the microwave. If you're not sure if your cookware is microwave-safe, err on the side of caution and don't use it.
A combination microwave convection oven can be a great addition to your kitchen. These ovens can save you time and energy by cooking your food faster and more evenly. However, not all combination microwave convection ovens are created equal. Some models may not work as well as others. Do your research to find a model that will work well for your needs.
Most microwaves these days are designed to be installed by a do-it-yourselfer. However, if you have any doubts about your ability to do the job, it's always best to hire a professional. The main reason to hire an electrician is to make sure the job is done safely. An electrician will have the experience and know-how to properly connect the microwave to your home's electrical system.
If you have an electrical outlet near your desired installation spot, then you likely won't need an electrician to install your new microwave. However, if there is no outlet or the outlet isn't close enough, then you will need to hire an electrician to install one for you. The electrician will also need to ensure that your home's wiring can handle the new load.
A microwave oven combo should last for many years if it is well cared for. Most microwave ovens have a lifespan of around 10 years. However, if a microwave oven is not properly maintained, it may only last for a few years.
