Component speakers are a great way to improve the sound quality in your car. They offer better sound quality than 3-way speakers, and they’re easier to install. If you’re looking for the best sound quality, component speakers are the way to go. They offer better sound quality than 3-way speakers, and they’re easier to install.
If you have a car stereo that supports both 2-way and 3-way speakers, then you can mix and match them however you’d like. There’s no right or wrong answer, and it ultimately comes down to personal preference. Some people like the added bass that 3-way speakers provide, while others find that 2-way speakers sound just fine. Ultimately, it’s up to you to experiment and see what sounds best in your car.
There is no simple answer to this question as it depends on a number of factors, including the specific speakers in question, the size of the room, and the type of music being played. That said, in general, three-way speakers tend to have more bass than two-way speakers. This is because they have an additional woofer dedicated to reproducing low frequencies. Therefore, if you are looking for a speaker system with more bass, three-way speakers are a good option to consider.
Component speakers are designed to produce better sound quality than traditional speakers, and they often have more bass than traditional speakers. This is because component speakers have separate woofers and tweeters, which allows them to reproduce low frequencies more accurately.

The GTO 609c 6.5" component set under review. The sound these speakers produce astounds me! In my third-generation Honda CR-V, I used these to replace a set of Rockford Fosgate power 6.5" coaxial speakers that were five years old (2010). I really found the sound from the RF coaxials to be quite satisfactory, but I've been eager to try a component set for greater sound. I had one Punch P3 12" sub installed, and the bass completely dominated the mids and highs. The crossovers were placed inside the door panels, while the tweeters were surface mounted in the sail panels. The tweeters are tiny, as other reviews have noted! However, don't let that deter you—these things truly sing! The variety of sound these speakers reproduce genuinely astounds me. Because I have a subwoofer, I'm not playing these with a lot of bass, but they still have a wonderful midrange punch. Additionally, they are now solely powered by my Pioneer head unit, which uses about 22 W maximum. These will soon be amplified, and I know the sound will sound even better! Overall, for the price, these speakers produce excellent quality and sound. Buy these right away if you want a component set with superb sound without going broke!*Revised for review! *Amplification was finally installed on these, and WOW! Not only do they get loud, but even at low to moderate intensity, the clarity and detail are astounding. It is a JBL GX-A602 2 channel amp (60wx2 RMS) Another excellent JBL product, this compact amp also produces enough power to drive a component set and its small size makes mounting simple.

With these kinds of items, you definitely get what you paid for. Some claim that an amplifier is necessary to get nice sound from the speakers. Even though these speakers may produce the BEST sound, using them without an amplifier will still result in excellent sound. The sound quality is amazing even when I'm only using a Pioneer MVH 200ex without an amplifier. I previously owned a few sets of boss 4 way 400 watt coaxial speakers, and the sound quality is noticeably different. It really is mind-blowing, from the lows to the clarity of sound at greater volumes. My system reaches a volume of forty. I couldn't turn up the volume past 25 on my old speakers without getting a ton of distortion. And with the old ones, I was unable to use bass boost at all. Level 1 of the bass boost, which has a range of 1 to 6, could not even be used. With these, I can increase the volume to 35 dB while maintaining level 6 bass boost and nearly flawless clarity. Of course, you must also ensure that the best supporting equipment is installed with these. For instance, employing rapid rings will improve sound clarity, bass resonance, and cabin sound projection. In order to improve sound quality and bass pressure so that you can FEEL more of the lows, make sure your door panel is properly sealed. Some individuals try to give these speakers a poor rap by being stereo/bass snobs or by not understanding the physics underlying sound engineering, but don't believe the hype. These speakers are outstanding.

After reading as much as possible online, which was not a lot, I just put them in this morning. These were installed in a 2015 Toyota Sienna Premium non-JBL Entune system to replace the factory 2.5 inch dash speakers. To remove the speaker cover, you can purchase a spudger tool from Amazon. To reuse the speaker connector, I only needed to cut the original speaker wires from the car.Tools required: a set of small screwdrivers, a mini socket wrench, a spudger, scissors, a soldering iron, glue, flux, and a glue gun. Once more, I did not have to cause any harm to the vehicle. Because I think the JBL system pre-equalizes the speakers, I made note of the non-JBL Premium Entune system because I think replacing the speakers alone might not have much of an impact. Toyota dash speakers are essentially all the same. Pull out the speaker and unclip the adaptor after removing the 2 bolts. The stock speaker has the female end glued on. The 2.2 uf capacitor in the adapter will break if you bend it repeatedly. For further durability, connect the 150 uf capacitor that comes with the adapter to the 2.2 uf one. This will prevent distortion from reaching the little speaker. The JBL speakers' wires are then soldered to them. The hardest part is that. The stock 2.2 uf capacitor will provide you with only limited benefits, but you may always replace it.To make the JBL speaker fit beneath the dash cover, you only need to make two simple modifications to it: 1. Remove the speaker ring by wriggling it; it is only glued on. 2. Carefully pull off the glued-on tweeter dome baffle using a little flat-head screwdriver tip. I'm done now. Despite the large speaker composite basket, you can fit it flush with the dash without cutting it if you carefully wiggle it into the opening in the dash while using the open basket sections to prevent edges. The speaker was only held in place by one bolt because it was already tightly jammed. I swore I wouldn't cut anything (although if you cut there, the speaker cover will hide it all). Once installed, the Toyota speaker cover simply snapped back into place. After a day of driving, it has become somewhat more balanced after the first hour or two were initially positive. The speaker still has a tight sound. It provided a significant amount of clarity and fullness with a higher soundstage than previously when I was listening to it in the garage just now. They should blend well with the GTO doors 6x9. In contrast to many other 3.5 coaxials, the tweeter has a soft dome. The sound is warmer and without the metal dome stratospheric fading. Additionally, the dash speaker's wider frequency range enables the rear passengers to hear more noises originating from the front. Just watch out for the head unit equalizing the speakers, which would reduce their efficiency. The last improvement this car needs.

With them, the enclosures are more important than the speakers. If you're going to run more than 50w RMS, I'd recommend giving these a little time to break in since they can handle the most RMS watts out of this line. However, they do need to be amplified and can easily be pushed farther. The difference is incredible, so I built a partitioned box and am using these as a center channel in my Commander. Since I needed to fill the middle of the Jeep, which has almost an acre of space inside, I chose these since the cone is actually closer to the edge of the frame than any other speakers I could find, producing deeper mids that almost reach mid-bass. I gave these about two days to break in before running them hard with an amp pushing 75w x four @ four ohms. I was astonished by how deep these would bump when packed properly! It has significantly changed things—almost as much as when you first install a subwoofer. Even with wattage levels greater than recommended, they are crystal clear. They are probably running on 50w RMS, in reality. The simplest way to grenade a speaker or crossover is with too little power, so overwhelm a little and adjust the volume accordingly!

Now it works great. For the speaker, there are two power cords. Only the red wire is shown in the instructions. The blue cable requires electricity. The sound is of high quality. Although there isn't much bass, it still sounds decent.
Component speakers are a great way to improve the sound in your car, but they don't always come with a subwoofer. If you're looking for the best sound possible, you'll need to add a subwoofer to your system. A subwoofer will add depth and bass to your music, and it will make your system sound much better. If you're looking for the best sound quality, you should definitely add a subwoofer to your component speaker system.
Component speakers are a great way to improve the sound in your car. They offer better sound quality than regular speakers, and they are easy to install.
If your component speakers have a frequency range of 40-20,000 Hz, then you will not need a crossover for those speakers.
If you're looking to get the most out of your component speakers, then you'll need to invest in a good amplifier. A quality amp will help your speakers perform at their best, and it will also allow you to fine-tune the sound to your liking. So, if you're serious about getting great sound from your component speakers, then an amplifier is a must.
Car speakers come in a range of impedance levels, the most common being 4, 6, or 8 ohms. The lower the impedance, the easier it is for the amplifier to drive the speaker. However, lower impedance speakers are also more likely to suffer from electrical interference.
There is no definitive answer to how many watts is good for car speakers, as it depends on a number of factors such as the size of the car, the acoustics of the car, and the preferences of the listener. However, as a general rule of thumb, it is typically recommended that car speakers have at least 50 watts of power.
