I'm writing this review for both this calculator and its predecessor, the Casio MS-80V, which I've had for 32 years and have used daily without incident. AMAZING!! All the buttons and functionalities are still functional, and neither the battery nor the solar panel have ever failed! I have owned the MS-80B for about a week, and if this is any indication of how it will operate in the future, it will also be a fantastic device, and thus far, it looks to be! I offer them all five stars and strongly urge you to get the updated model. What modern product lasts 32 years without fail? ....... Before they sell out and especially at this price, purchase several of this new model!

I'm frustrated that the Nspire can't perform anything as easy as provide an answer in an irrational or radical form despite having a huge array of frequently worthless skills. For instance, if you type in cos(/4), the response you get is 0.707 rather than (sqrt 2)/2. This is really a straightforward illustration, but consider attempting to understand anything more intricate. defeats a calculator's intended function. I'm not sure why the non-CAS version can't when the Nspire CAS can produce outcomes that are irrational and radical. It just seems strange that even their most expensive and sophisticated calculators couldn't give answers in their irrational or radical form, especially because simple scientific calculators do.Advantages: The Nspire functions like a miniature computer, capable of effectively storing notes and carrying out a variety of other tasks. It even has a touchpad mouse.For anyone who is not doing trigonometric equations, I believe this is an excellent tool. It can actually do a lot, a lot more than most people actually require. However, be aware that due to the Nspire's ability to store notes and the fact that it does provide answers, most colleges do not permit students to use it during examinations. I had intended to restrict its use to use in high school or for private use at home. So go for it if you're prepared to spend the money even if it won't be useful after high school, has a very steep learning curve, and is ineffective for trigonometry.

This calculator is not exceptionally remarkable nor unique. It functions properly, has a nice layout, and is the "correct" size.I have been using THIS calculator at work for 15 years, and I struggle with ANY other calculator since I am so accustomed to its size and layout.After 15 years, the one I used at work was broken, and the supplier from whom we obtain our supplies no longer carries this particular model. After struggling with others for a few weeks, I made the decision to order my own from Amazon, and now I'm back in the zone. LOLI noticed that someone had asked about the model's battery requirements, but I don't think it's worth asking. This calculator runs on solar power with a backup battery. My damaged calculator's predecessor used the same battery for 15 YEARS of operation. If the battery needs to be replaced every 15 years or so (I'm not persuaded), just treat yourself to a new one since the cost is probably half that of the calculator.

I bought my mum this calculator. She had requested a reasonably sized calculator with large, legible numbers. She was thrilled with the functionality and build quality of this calculator. She had no trouble reading the high numerals. It's a desk calculator, so I expected the quality to be a bit of a crap shoot. I must perform simple math operations with large numbers at my job. My computer's calculator is never as quick to use when you have to switch screens. This sucker comes in.I purposely bought a calculator with these keys because I don't like the non-tactile keys on many of them. It's efficient. Even in direct sunlight, the display is legible, and the keys provide satisfying response.Memory keys are available, but I don't utilize them.Overall, I would advise.

After a few decades of use, my old calculator broke, necessitating the purchase of a new one. I had assumed that the quality would be the same as previously, but things weren't quite that easy. Both of the calculators I got from Amazon were subpar. The "back space" button wasn't available to them both. That was terrible. Additionally, they lacked the "double zero" button, which is a feature everyone can do without. They were then placed in the junk drawer for donation (funny how you take things for granted until they aren't there). I discovered this one after taking a more careful look. I'm grateful. Everything required for everyday use is present. Indeed, this is the one I advise.

I keep one of these in the living room on an end table and another one in our little, untidy home office on my computer desk. When I go shopping, I frequently carry one of those in my purse. They are roughly 3-7/8" long, somewhat more than 2" wide, and 1/8" thick. They weigh little less than an ounce, slightly more than the silicon case I have on my phone. It already has all the digits 0 through 9, so you don't need to do anything to make it more capable of handling extra digits. You can use any 8 of the numbers you choose because the display is quite large. A% and a square-root key are also included in this little treasure, as if anyone would ever use those. People who need to calculate square roots typically already own larger, more expensive calculators. Additionally, it features the memory feature, which comes in helpful occasionally. I tried setting it to remind me of the day of the week, but, darn it, it seems to be unable to do that. It does not require any batteries because it is powered by one of those tiny solar panel devices. And the tiny red button turns it on while also erasing any previous computations from the window. It's really affordable, so it's simple to maintain one at the office and one in the living room. And if you need to add up more than ten items, it's certainly preferable to having to take off your shoes, especially if you're in the grocery shop. I suppose that wouldn't be a huge deal if you were wearing sandals, huh? In any case, I suggest this tiny calculator due to its abundance of functions that will enable the majority of us to go through the day, its affordable price, and its protracted battery-free operation.

I have 18 years of expertise as a professional GRE tutor and am a Harvard graduate with a 99% GRE score. I heartily suggest Texas Instruments' straightforward 4-function calculator due to its affordable pricing, durability, usability, and—most importantly—its simple button design.Cheaper standard function calculators frequently feature sticky, tiny buttons that barely protrude from the calculator's surface and have excessive "give." Using the calculator is challenging since these less expensive buttons are frequently difficult to press. This TI calculator, in contrast, features very hard plastic buttons that are simple to press and use fast and accurately.The GRE (Graduate Record Exam) computer version's on-screen calculator and the calculator provided for the paper-based test are quite comparable to the TI 503-SV. This is a nice small study aid for the GRE, and it's reasonably priced (a little more expensive, but much studier, easier to use and reliable than others like it). This TI calculator does not have a cover, unlike the more sophisticated models, but it is only $5. Yes, you could purchase or use a more attractive calculator in its place, but in my opinion it's crucial to practice with a device that has the same restrictions as the one you'll be using on the test (for example, it only displays answers out to 8 digits).If you're anything like me, you probably never really used the memory buttons and are wondering why they are eating up important space.
